Learning with fun
Playing, learning and enjoying every minute, and that is exactly what PKC is all about. We use BUDDY as a friend - someone who the children actually learn from as s/he takes the children into the wonderful world of knowledge. Learning should be fun and we ensure that there is always a smile on the face of a PKC.
Entry
Your child's safety is our first priority, so secure entrance and
exit is an important feature of our PKC.
Reception
Our reception area is child friendly and instantly appeals to the child.
In the waiting area for the parents we have handouts and display boards with all relevant information for the parent.
Our PKC looks like Casa de Bambini (children's play houses) where every thing is
child sized and child friendly.
We display the Childs work as we know that they learn to enjoy their work , appreciate the variety of artistic expression. Seeing their work helps build positive self esteem and stimulates thought and creativity.
Sand letters are Montessori equipment which assists the children with pre writing readiness as they move their fingers on the various patterns. A great way to introduce the young children to writing readiness.
The Puzzles help the children develop their pre mathematical skills and help build concepts like shapes, sizes, sequences and colors.
The theme wall is an interactive wall used by the teacher to introduce and revise concepts with the children. It is stimulating for them when they see their friend and mascot doing various activities that they will be doing during the funfilled day at PKC
Children discover proportion and mathematical relationships. Block building gives chance to express undesirable feelings freely through play and makes children more prepared to tackle these feelings constructively in real life situations. Important concepts such as proportion, balance, size, shape and patterns come to life with classic wooden building blocks.
We provide colourful and interesting books that help children understand the power and importance of the early written word. Early experiences with books help children make the vital connection between the written words and visual images, providing an excellent foundation for future learning.A quiet place to read or look at picture books encourages language skills for beginning and advanced readers.
Pantry
We have a hygienic pantry area where the water filter is fixed and the maids serve safe drinking water to our kids.
Our Pre School is designed to encourage health, independence and good personal hygiene habits.
Child sized sinks and bathrooms are available in our school.
We design our bathrooms and sinks so that the children can use them as needed, without adult intervention. We encourage hand washing before eating and after bathroom visits for health reasons and encourage good personal habits.
Gym
Gym is a new & unique concept introduced recently at PKC.
Our mission is to create facilities, programs and services that empower young children by helping them acquire the skills, confidence and positive self image needed to become healthy young adults.
We provide specialized, imported equipment which is fully adjustable and interchangeable, affording flexibility to provide healthy, fun and safe activities for young children.
Outdoor play
Exercise is just as important for your child as learning developmental skills which is why every EuroKids Pre School has an outdoor play area. We consider the outdoor area as an extension of our fun room because we understand that young children are continuously learning even through play.
Our outdoor play area provides a safe and fun learning experience through exploration and active play.In our daily curriculum every child gets an opportunity to play in the outdoor area at least once a day.
WATER PLAY AREA- in future PKC will be equipped with a water play area or a splash pool in which the children splash and play around.
The smooth flowing rhythm of water also gives a sense of soothing calmness to the child.
It also provides a sense of power as he experiments and discovers while playing with water.
SAND PLAY AREA- Sand play is a reconstructive activity in which a child is given almost unlimited freedom to do any thing s/he wants. Sand play helps in building many basic concepts through experimentation.
It also contributes to the development of small muscle strength and skills, to eye hand co-ordination and to increasing imagination and initiative.
